Oh! What is it you ask? Well, it’s a new, full paper towel roll, obviously. And I LOVE IT!
I do not know why. It’s pretty lame, I admit. But putting out a new, full, complete paper towel roll always gives me a tiny bit of peace. A deep breath exhaled. A small sense of centered calm.
While juggling the work schedule and the To Do list — made extra special this week by being called the Graduation To Do list — I opened that pack of paper towels, put it on the stand, and thought “give it to me Jesus!” Give me that sense of renewed calm and peace. With my boys growing up and leaving the nest, give me the feeling of starting fresh, of my heart being full.
